2012

Yes it’s the year 2012 which I am talking about. May be you must be knowing about what is going to happen in this year but to be more specific in date it’s the December 21, 2012 and to be more specific in events lets see what others are calling it. Many people are calling it the complete destruction of the world; many are calling it a change of the race of man similar to the one 26000 years ago in which the Neanderthal race could not justify its existence; many are calling it a destruction in Noah’s time 5200 years ago or as the one in which Atlantis and many other parts of the world were obliterated 10400 years ago and many are calling it a destruction on much larger scale as compared to the previous events.
How and why? These questions splash in our minds when we hear such words. Ok I would be making it clearer by talking about two things- an old civilization- The Mayan Civilization and a planet- Planet X.
Let’s talk something about the Mayan civilization. This civilization was as old as 2600 BC and their area extended throughout the southern Mexican states. At that time, the Mayans were very good at art, architecture, and mathematical and astronomical systems. They built highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. Using their skills, Mayans built their calendar which consisted of 5125 years and it ends on December 21, 2012. People interpreted this calendar in different ways. Many say that Mayans calculated when this world will come to an end and hence they ended their calendar on that particular date. Many say that any how Mayans had to end their calendar on particular date and hence they chose this arbitrary date.
Let’s talk about Planet-X. This is a planet that orbits our sun every 3600 years. This planet has been referred to as Planet X. It gets its name from being an elusive planet. The first real pictures Planet X were photographed shortly after January 26, 1983, when NASA launched the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS). The astronomers calculated that Planet X was over 50 million miles away from us at that time. In 2004 Planet X was determined to be only 7 million miles away. It's moving closer. Confirmation of the tenth planet "Planet X" was photographed n in Japan on February 28, 2008. Planet X exists, and it will be here by the end of 2012. Planet X will appear as two suns in the sky to us, no later than 2011. Planet X will be returning from its 3600 year orbit around our solar system. Which will bring with it six orbiting satellites with it. This return of Planet X will disrupt our solar system, and especially Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, Venus, and the Earth. Planet X will enter our solar system at the edge and cross orbits with Jupiter. Jupiter could ignite at this time and become a baby sun. Nibiru will pass between the Earth on the Sun. This will cause the two suns to be seen by everyone in the world. Everyday people will be able to view the two suns by May of 2011 the latest.
Beside the above events, there are some more events which are likely to happen at the end of 2012 which can cause devastation. Let’s discuss about them in brief.
Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it's supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy; it's been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it'll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012.
Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple - it's sitting on top of the world's biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we're many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.
We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that shields us from most of the sun's radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so - and right now we're about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.
The sun, earth, and milky way will align at the galactic equator, on December 21, 2012, the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, and the end of the Mayan calendar. This only happens every 25,800 years! For the first time in recorded history, our entire solar system will move below the Milky Way galaxy. These combined cosmic events, will be the end of the world as we know it. About 6 billion people of the world will perish in just a few short years if this cosmic catastrophe occurs.
Now coming to religious point of view on this topic many discussions could be made. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good and Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.
Based on such type of events many movies have been made. You must be remembering one movie- “Armageddon” starring Bruce Willis. One more movie-“2012” by Roland Emmerich, the director of the movie-“The Day after Tomorrow” is getting released in November 2009. I hope the movie would be as interesting as “The day after tomorrow”.
I don’t know whether you know or not that one of the signs of Qayamat (Dooms Day) is that sun will rise from the west. May be due to those events the sun will start rising from the west and will set in the east. May be due to the change in magnetic polarity of the earth our compasses would show that the sun rises from the west. Any thing can happen, Allah knows better. The above phenomenon is called the retrograde motion. I would be discussing on this topic sometime later in detail.
The stance of the Qur’an on this issue is clear from the following verse: “They ask you [Prophet] about the end of the world, saying, ‘When will it be?’ How can you tell them that? Its time is known only to your Lord. You are only sent to warn those who fear it.” (Qur’an 79:42-45)
The point is that when Allah says that something is “known only to your Lord”, it means that it is something that cannot be discovered by man, such as a person’s lifespan. Many people try to predict a number of things and we assume that, because of the advances in science and technology, we can also have knowledge similar to what Allah has. However, think about how many times the weather report has been wrong despite all the satellites and advanced equipment, how many people were supposed to die but lived, and how many people were supposed to have lived but died. All of these things remind us of how far we really are from Allah’s knowledge. As for using the Maya calendar, we need to stop and think about a number of things. First, how many predictions did they make? Second, what were their predictions about? Third, what was the rate of accuracy in all of their predictions and why they aren’t being used as mainstream evidence? Fourth, where did they get this knowledge from?
We must be very critical of people who claim to know the future. Most people who make such a claim are frauds while the others are merely guessing. It’s like horoscopes which are written in such a general way that people think they can actually tell the future when, in reality, they don’t. We shouldn’t be fooled by such things, even if they are packaged and presented in the name of science. Science is a very useful tool, but it is often misused and twisted to fit a certain agenda or just to sell a book. When all is said and done, remember that just because the sun has risen from the east for millions of years doesn’t mean that Allah can’t change it tomorrow and make it rise from the west. We must remember that just as our own lives are in the hands of Allah, so is the life of the world, and He can end it whenever He likes. May Allah allow us to utilize our limited lives with what pleases Him before our time is up.
Sorry to make the article so long. I usually don’t write such long articles, but I hope it would have been an interesting one to read.

Should We change....

Change-yes it’s the change, well known haunters of human mind. “Change”, which forms the topic of this discussion is not the change of one’s CRT monitors to LCD one but it’s the different one. The one of which a human body, his heart, his eyes and his mind are reluctant to. It’s the one which haunts him before the change, about the taunt which one could suffer, after the change takes place. It’s all about the attachment, the emotions, and the relations, not only with other people but also with the non living items. The non living items like streets one ran into, the building one lives into, the roads on which one rides and the atmosphere whose air one breathes. And the most culprit parameter which howls and fouls in one’s ear and nose respectively is the time. It’s the cold war type relation between the olden passed time and the present passing time. The passing one tries to regulate your mind by carving good words in your mind’s ear. But the olden one taunts you from its time to the time you are still to see, still to face. Thus one is afraid about the impact of that on the future, because it’s the future which completes the destiny of a person.
So what are the parameters which decide whether one has to change his location, his relations or himself is all about what is important in his life. Its all about what he cares for- is it the lust of money, sweetness of honey, happiness, the freedom, the culture, the religion, the relations or anything else. And the other thing is that besides taking that decision of change, whether he is also capable of bearing the effects of that change. Effects on the important aspect of his life, whether he is happy and others whom he wants are happy or not, whether he is wealthy and others whom he wants are wealthy or not, whether he is moving with time and others whom he wants are moving with time or not.
The most important thing in this whole world is balance and so should be our lives. Time, money and happiness are the three vertices of an equilateral triangle and if one tries to pull or change the coordinates of any of the vertices, the triangle either becomes an isosceles or a scalene one- too far from a balanced equilateral triangle of one’s life.

Lets Walk.....

In million of people, and in million of seconds we were about to hunt our desires. Those desire which we although knew that would not be fulfilled, but then also just trying our luck for having a glance of those. It was not as if we were not eligible for those desires, but it was a particular way allotted to us to achieve those desires. So, we went forward for those desires in our own way. That way was somewhat diverged from the way which we had been allotted. But what could we do apart from that. If we were not going to walk that way, some others would have definitely walked. Therefore, we decided, let’s walk.
The second problem was that-where to walk? Its really very much disgusting when next problem jumps on our heads after the solution of the first one. But we didn’t worried at all and decided to walk in a big mall. In that mall, my God, there were so many varieties that any one could wonder which one to choose. Some were short and some were tall. Some were in traditional dress and some were in fancy dresses. Some were trying to show their bare backs and some were trying to hide it. But we were asking each other about our choices. Whether you like this or that? Which one will you choose among them? Some were beautiful and some were sexy. Some had beautiful faces and some had beautiful bodies. Some of them were having big ones and some were having smaller ones. Please don’t take it other way round. We are very decent people and focus only on eyes. We told each other about our choices and sat discussing more on the chairs and looking at them. But this was only our limit. Although we were asking each other whether one could do a particular thing or not but it was just an imagination. The reality was something different.
When were tired of sitting in the mall, we went to the road side to analyze some more things. We always arrived to an inference that-“yes that’s the ultimate one”. But after sometime that ultimate place was taken by the other. In this havoc of ultimate ones we were totally disturbed and agitated. We were not able to decide which one to choose and which one to loose.
In the end we came to know that our imagination’s space was full and was flowing out of the bowl. Therefore we left those desires and started imagination of different desires having a separate bowl.
We don’t know when these imaginations will turn into reality. But we expect that sooner or later they will turn into. Till then let’s walk into more imaginations and expect them turning to reality.

Past, Present and the Future

Well, to start with I would like to say that there are many things in the past which still try playing with one’s present. The glossy image which an individual has about its future may also be affected by the earlier period. I don’t deny about the rules and regulations which one tries to follow to overcome all those tiny pricking past needles but I want to warn ourselves about the further ill effect of one needle which we generally ignore by calling it as a tiny one. When one tiny needle makes a hole in our expanding present into future, then nothing but one thing happens. As we try to fill air in the balloon, simultaneously from that tiny hole, the air is again freed. And who doesn’t like freedom, so is the air. We think that we are expanding our future, we are building our future but the reality is that we itself don’t know that our future is shrinking.
The same is the case with time also. This fourth dimension also likes freedom. But there is one thing which it likes more than the freedom. It’s the speed. Although, we haven’t entered into such a world, where the speed of time’s movement is equal to light, but then also surely it is going to happen. May be we would then be applying Einstein’s theory of relativity in our lives, but Iam sure that those theories would also not be very much helpful to us. Therefore this is clear that the time is not going to help us in anyways. It is passing and it would pass further with more speed.
Now we again come to the same place from where we have started. It’s the past. It’s the same past when we were small babies, incapable of doing anything except wetting out clothes. Then we grew into small kids and then big man. During this growth we were guided by our parents and teachers. Our fathers brought us our demands and our mothers nursed us. But there were many decisions and works which we only were supposed to get involved in. Neither our parents nor our teachers were going to help us beyond one point. That stage of one’s life has the deepest effect in the future balloon of an individual. May be we deny that in present but when we reach the future or the future reaches us, we gradually commit.
We are not child any more. Many have stepped into that zone and many are in transition. The zone which Iam talking about is not having a definite boundary. It’s a loose one. It changes with time. Sometimes it’s the past which can never come, some times it’s the future which will come, but it’s never the present exactly. If it’s the present then it’s either blended with past or the future. This blending ratio varies from person to person. It also depends on how he has filled his balloon in the past and whether he has taken into account those small needles or not.
Many people say that the future is destined. The important thing is not that this was destined, but the way one achieved that destiny. That means how one spent his past and present to get his future. The thing is that we have no other option except saying that this was our destiny. This is very simple also; somewhat logical also but many times it becomes unexplainable.
Now, to end with I would like to say that we should try to focus on our decisions and rules for our growth. We should not deviate a little bit from them, not a single degree, because a single degree deviation can cause large deviations in the distant future.
